Wase ferlicitates with Buhari at 77, says he’s a compassionate leader
The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Idris Ahmed Wase has felicitated with President Muhammad Buhari,GCFR on his 77 birthday, describing the president as a humane, compassionate and patriotic leader.
In a congratulatory message signed by his chief press secretary, Umar Muhammad Puma, Wase observed that at 77, President Buhari is well matured, better experienced and imbued with wisdom to take Nigeria to greater heights.
“I wish to congratulate our leader and father,President Muhammadu Buhari on his 77 birthday. It is a great milestone to attain such an advance age and I am happy that such a compassionate, humane and patriotic leader has achieved this feat.
“There is no doubt that at 77, President Buhari has everything that is required to reengineer our dear country. I pray to Almighty Allah to give him more wisdom to drive the process of taking Nigeria to the next level”
“Today,I join well meaning Nigerians in wishing our president is a happy birthday and many.more years of healthy and productive living.
“I pray to Allah to bless him with the best if health, strength, wisdom and the grace to
continue to lead this nation in the right direction and with the best of his abilities”
The Deputy Speaker said at an occasion like this, all Nigerians should eschew sentiments and reflect on the sacrifices and contributions of the president to the nation.
“I urge Nigerians to use this occasion of the presidents birthday and reflect on his contributions towards keeping this nation as one; especially the sacrifices he made in his service to the nation both as a military officer and now as a civilian president”
He called on Nigerians to support the laudable policies initiatives and being pursued by the administration of President Buhari to return Nigeria in its right place in the comity of nations.
” I therefore call on all Nigerians irrespective of ethnicity, religion or political affiliation to pray for the president so that God will continue to be his pillar of strength. May we all join hands with the president and make this nation great once more”, he stated.
